Amanda Kespohl is a fantasy writer who was born in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, but currently calls Tallahassee home. Some of her published short stories include “The Wicked Fairy,” which was featured in ALIEN ABDUCTION (Robot Cowgirl Press 2015), and “The Fisherman and the Golem,” which was featured in SIRENS (World Weaver Press 2016). She recently released a short fantasy story, “Jenny Redcape,” as an ebook. Her short story, “How Death Came by his Soul,” will be featured in the forthcoming anthology, THE DEATH OF ALL THINGS, which is due to be released in 2017 by Zombies Need Brains LLC. She is a lover of mythology, folklore, and fairy tales, and a voracious reader of fantasy written by the likes of Neil Gaiman, Robin Hobb, Robin McKinley, Dave Duncan, Peter S. Beagle, and Patricia McKillip. She’s also a gamer, a SFF convention attendee, a comic book reader, and an all-around unabashed geek.
