Amanda Kespohl is a fantasy writer who was born in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, but currently calls Tallahassee home. Some of her published short stories include “The Wicked Fairy,” which was featured in ALIEN ABDUCTION (Robot Cowgirl Press 2015), “The Fisherman and the Golem,” which was featured in SIRENS (World Weaver Press 2016), and “How Death Came by his Soul,” which was featured in THE DEATH OF ALL THINGS (Zombies Need Brains LLC 2017) Her short fantasy story, “Jenny Redcape,” is also available as an ebook. Her fantasy adventure novelette “Gretel” is available on May 1, 2018.
She is a lover of mythology, folklore, and fairy tales, and a voracious reader of fantasy written by the likes of Neil Gaiman, Robin Hobb, Robin McKinley, Naomi Novik, Dave Duncan, Peter S. Beagle, and Patricia McKillip. She’s also a gamer, a SFF convention attendee, a comic book reader, and an all-around geek.
